BUGS, INSECTS, ANIMALS

Always with a view to seeking similarities and fractals between humans, plants and animals, I have collected some traces transcribed by the advance of ivy (Hedera helix) on the trunks.
Beyond the name that contains the adjective identical to that of the snail (helix) for their spiral development and to which I cannot remain insensitive given that our entire universe develops around this harmonic formula (phi), spiral and aura... apart from this, I was saying, the progress of ivy has in itself something of the writing that Sapiens also developed. They seem like ideograms, more or less complex signs that I imagine trace an alphabet unknown to us.
I find the same thing in the trail of snails which is in any case dictated by their orientation with smell and light. Sometimes they all take the same direction creating trails, sometimes, when the food is placed at the center, they crawl with centripetal motion leaving rays around a circle… their progress is never random. There is a choice and not just an instinct.
Finally, the galleries dug by a tiny beetle (Ips Typographus) inside the bark of the spruce trees are interesting for their aesthetic perfection having nothing to envy to lace or Burano lace. I only enlarged and reproduced them by “nibbling” the paper, as he does with wood. On the other hand, if Linnaeus had called him a typographer, it means that he had already compared him to a scribe, a Gutenberg who knew how to master the characters.
